Get ready for delicious cake in 60 seconds! Add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt to a regular sized mug that is microwave safe. Use a whisk or fork to mix until well combined.
Add the milk and melted butter and mix into the cake. Mix until a batter forms. Then add the chopped chocolate on top and fold in. Microwave for 1 minute. If the centre is still jiggly, microwave for another 20-30 seconds. Every microwave is different in strength.
Optional: Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkles on top.

StorageI wouldn’t recommend storing this cake, it doesn’t keep well, but what’s cool about it is you can make the batter up to a da in advance if you wish, store it in the fridge and then cook it when you’re ready!BakingYou can bake this cake by simply preheating a fan forced oven to 180C. Make sure whatever you bake it in is oven safe and bake for 4-5 minutes.The mugMake sure the mug is microwave safe.
