Ingredients

  • 1 cup (210 g) dark cooking chocolate block

Instructions

  • To prepare your chocolate, you need to soften it slightly in the microwave. If it’s a warm, humid day, no need to warm up, just start shaving your chocolate with a vegetable peeler.
  • Place your chocolate on a heatproof plate and microwave for 10 seconds at a time. Each time, pick the chocolate up and check to see if the corners have started melting. If the corners show even the slightest hint of melting and the chocolate feels slightly warm, it’s ready!
  • Shave using a vegetable peeler along the long side of your chocolate bar.
