Raspberries – I used frozen because theyโ€™re cheap, but fresh will work too.

Granulated sugar – you can use caster sugar too if you wish.

Lemon – this helps cut through the sweetness and gives the sauce a longer shelf life.

  1. Making easy raspberry sauce is so quick. Simply pop all the ingredients into a heatproof bowl and mix.
  2. Microwave for 5 minutes. Run through a fine meshed sieve and allow to cool. Store in an airtight jar for up to 3 weeks.

  • 1 cup / 150 g frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup / 210 g granulated sugar
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
