Nick’s favorite thingโ€ฆ

Can I just say something? My favorite thing about our freezer is having these in there, ready for when I need a rando sugar fix. Yeah, I need a sugar fix too. Theyโ€™re good thawed or frozen!

What do Cookie Dough Truffles taste like?

Oh my wordie, lordy, theyโ€™re delicious! I mean, youโ€™ve eaten raw cookie dough right? Thatโ€™s what they taste like! Add some chocolate chips in there with some funfetti sprinkles and you have a fun little sweet treat!

But isnโ€™t raw egg unsafe to eat??

This recipe has no eggs! Itโ€™s got flour in it, but itโ€™s baked and completely safe to eat!

What are the ingredients I need for Cookie Dough Truffles?

Unsalted butter – make sure itโ€™s softened.

Brown sugar – light or dark will work. Dark brown sugar will have a stronger flavor.

Vanilla extract – Make sure you use pure vanilla extract.

Salt – I used fine salt. Donโ€™t skimp on the salt. It adds flavor.

All-purpose flour – Also known as plain flour, this flour is briefly baked to make it safe to eat raw.

Milk – I used regular cows milk. But if you wanted to make these vegan, you could use plant based milk.

White chocolate chips – Same with these and the chocolate chips. If you can get vegan ones, it turns this recipe into vegan cookie dough truffles.

Rainbow sprinkles – I used American rainbow jimmies.

Chocolate sprinkles

My Top Tips!

  • Make sure you bake the flour and allow it cool completely before using.
  • If you want to turn this into a vegan version of the recipe replace the milk with plant based milk and replace the chocolate chips and sprinkles with vegan ones.

I just made these, and theyโ€™re AMAZING as well as incredibly easy to make. However just wanted to give a heads up that the addition of salt is left out of the instructions so I forgot it lol but still!! Really good and really fun.
